Thinking about, planning for, or in the process of moving back into the community from a Nursing Facility? You are invited to come to IN and mingle with people who, like you, are in all different phases of transition. Please feel free to invite anyone who is in a nursing facility and may be interested in transitioning to the community.

Session 1: ACCESSIBLE VANS AND VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS

Mike Kresloff of Oneness Mobility will talk about hand controls, accessibility and lift options, and how to finance purchase. Snacks will be provided.

Session 2: PRINCE GEORGE’S ACCESSIBLE TAXI PROJECT 

The three major cab companies of Prince George’s County have a combined total of 13 wheelchair accessible taxis for use.  TAG is looking to meet with wheelchair users who are interested in testing out services and providing feedback.
